Some time ago, I symbolically closed one of the important stages on the path toward my solo exhibition.
In a video published on social media, I cut open the silicone molds of portrait sculptures created over several years as part of an ongoing personal project. Each portrait represents a person I deeply respect and who, in one way or another, has influenced my perception of the world, work, or art. Every portrait was also developed and finished in an individual manner.
The project included portraits of Robert Lewandowski, Adam Ostrowski (O.S.T.R.), Robert Makłowicz, Paluch, Mata, and Kuba Błaszczykowski.
Cutting the molds marks the definitive end of this stage of work. No further casts belonging to this series will be produced.
Some of the people portrayed in the project I had the opportunity to meet personally, which was both a meaningful and symbolic experience for me.
I would also like to thank everyone who decided to purchase or win individual works at auction. Thanks to their support, the project was able to take on a life of its own and reach new audiences.
Finally, I would like to thank everyone who followed the development of this story over the years, supported it, and accompanied me through its successive stages.
